About the book
Conceptual Foundations of Ayurveda: Agadatantra is a comprehensive scholarly volume that systematically explores the classical foundations and contemporary relevance of Agada Tantra (Ayurvedic Toxicology). Structured across thematic sections, the book examines core principles of Visha, diagnostic and medico-legal perspectives, classical and integrated management protocols, food and chronic toxicity, environmental and occupational toxicology, dermatological toxic manifestations, antidotal therapies, animal and agrochemical poisons, substance use disorders, and the interface of toxicology with cancer care. By integrating classical Ayurvedic wisdom with modern toxicological insights, this volume aims to provide a rigorous academic resource for researchers, clinicians, postgraduate scholars, and interdisciplinary experts in Ayurveda and allied sciences.
